TI-Croatia has translated (into Croatian) two of the Transparency International Secretariat's publications that deal with transparency in the private sector in order to offer a simple and easy way to increase understanding of the practical issues of fighting corruption in public procurement as well as the business principles for countering bribery.
The publication is free of charge for end users, and can be ordered at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This guide provides government officials, businesses and civil society with a practical introduction to the risks of corruption in public procurement. It outlines key principles and minimum standards which, when respected, can protect public contracting from corruption. The Business principles aim to provide a framework that can assist enterprises in developing, benchmarking or strengthening their anti-bribery programmes.
We would like to thank the Embassy of Switzerland in Zagreb who supported the printing of the publication (project number: 771221 in the amount of 10,000.00 kuna).
