Corruption Perceptions Index

18.11.2013.

The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) measures the perceived levels of public sector corruption in countries worldwide. The Index scores countries on a scale from 0 to 100, with those scoring 0 perceived as highly corrupt, while those scoring 100 perceived as very clean. Countries that have the highest ratings show that transparency encourages social responsibility and reduces corruption, while those with the lowest rating face huge challenges--particularly with corruption associated with political parties, the police and judiciary.

Each December, Transparency International Croatia holds a conference to discuss the results, particularly in relation to Croatia.
