Istrian prefect Valter Flego should depart from duty

˝Laws are not here to be invaded but to carry out. According to the media, City Buzet led by Valter Flego brought the Rule about procedure of the city administration which is against the Law on Salaries of local and regional government. We welcome every accusations for abuse of position and authority from the Office for the Suppression of corruption and organized crime, such as this one against the Istrian prefect Valter Flego. In this particular case, the  city of Buzet is damaged for allegedly 540 thousand kunas, all this money came from taxpayers. Transparency International Croatia claims zero tolerance for this kind of crimes. From officials against whom accusation raises, we demand firstly moral responsibility. In this particular case Flego should leave from his position of Istrian prefect.˝, said for Radio Istra president of Transparency International Croatia Davorka Budimir.
