TIC in Nova TV and RTL TV Daily News about the case of referral of employees of Croatian Health Insurance Fund (CHIF) on a specialist study of Health Management

Further education of five employees of Croatian Health Insurance Fund in amount of 175.000,00 HRK on a specialist study of Health Management.
Transparency International Croatia with this case highlights the following: first, the investment in lifelong learning is important because of the raising of quality if it creates longterm values for institution, in this case for CHIF.
Second, during the year 2013. CHIF has formed its own working body - Anticorruption council which should have been, in this case, consulted by the Director of CHIF for the expert opinion. CHIF has adopted its own Code of Ethics which in article 17. and 18. is regulating a conflict of interest and every employee has had to sign and Anticorruption statement which is commiting him that she or he will repport all irregularities.
Thirdly, for one of the participants of a specialist study it was announced that on her's own request she was dismissed from the office at the spring 2014., so that in the coming period she could dedicate to the professional developement on a specialist study of Health Management.
