TIC visited the European Commission in Bruxelles

Transparency International Croatia was called to participate to an official visit of the European Commission with 13 other organizations of the civil society from Croatia. The European Commission representation in the Republic of Croatia organised this visit in Brussels which took place on the 1st and 2nd May.
It gave them the opportunity to learn more about the functioning of the European Commission, the work of general administration but also the one of office of the first Croatian commissioner Neven Mimica. Among the themes presented to the participants we can single out: waste management and recycling, consumer protection, politics of anti-discrimination and legislation of EU, public initiatives and first successful initiatives Right2Water.
We thank the organizers for the two nice days that we had.
