Two members of Transparency International Croatia in the new Government!

Two members of TIC have been appointed as non-partisan Ministers in the new Government of the Prime Minister Zoran Milanović, which was confirmed by the Parliament on 22 December 2011.
Both the Minister of Justice, Orsat Miljenić and the Minister of War Veterans, Predrag Matić Fred, have been longtime members of Transparency International Croatia. Their public presence and activities have contributed greatly to the reputation of our organization.
The Statute of TIC provides that their membership in the organization shall be temporarily suspended during the period of holding public position. As from today, this is applied to the newly elected ministers. TIC wishes them all the best in their future work and endeavors, hoping for the reactivation of their membership upon expiry of the mandate.
