Verdict in the case of Fimi media - a new standard in the fight against corruption

After the pronouncement of the judgment on the Fimi media case, the President of TIC, Davorka Budimir said for Hina:
"The judgment in the Fimi media case is a powerful message not only to the politicians, but to all of the Croatian society. Corruption is not worthwhile and the highest officials can be punished. State officials are here to serve the people, not to abuse their trust. Along with the prison punishments, it is extremely important that what has been unlawfully acquired returns to the State Budget.
I'm hoping that this verdict will set new standards in the fight against corruption. And that is what we're expecting from the new General attorney, Dinko Cvitan: a fight against corruption without compromise.
